Here’s Justin Taylor‘s second installment-a reading list for grades 4 to 5 provided by Calvary Classical School—a classical Christian school in Hampton, VA.

Taylor notes “for outside reading, the books are divided into three levels. Books with a “+” denote that any title in that series would be acceptable.”  Just for clarification, reading levels 1 to 3 progress from least to most advanced readers.  In his links, Taylor has sometimes linked to a box set of paperbacks if available—at other times he’s just linked to the lead-off book in a series.
